Oh Happy Day!

Short post: I have been offered a job!
Super exciting, it has not set in yet, and so many questions I need to ask now. fortunately, I have until september! I can relax a bit now, cuz I have a job!!!

Inspired

So i have spent the last few weeks totally imersed in reading other people's blogs. Not teaching or art blogs, but baking and food blogs... yum! Aside of teaching and art, and crafts and my cat, baking, cooking and eating are by far my favorite things to do, to talk about and to think about in the world!!!
I think the thought of actually creating a mildly interesting, consistant and informative blog is daunting to me... which is why each post is so long from the one before. I have to figure out how to get pictures and stuff onto here, despite having a degree in computer animation there are many things related to computers (i.e. the internet and web related stuff) that freak me out!

Eventually, I'd like this blog to have lesson plans, art and project ideas and personal anecdotes from the classroom and from life. Right now I am more of a student than a teacher. My leave replacement sadly ended in february and while I had been subbing ever since, that too had to end as my summer session in grad school began. So now I am a 'full time' student. I'm taking Advanced painting and will be taking ceramics and major issues in education next summer session.

Ok, well the heat wave has exhausted me, and its almost midnight... so off to bed I go!!

I am a blog-ophobe.

It's been a really long time since ive written anything. Lots of reasons for that, but mainly it's because I read all of these awesome blogs every day and don't think my writing will measure up. But anyway... here it is, my next post. I'm going to try my darndest to get this blog a'movin and a'shakin, and then one day maybe someone like me will happen by and think its interesting.
Anyway, its a small start, but here i am.
